working out movement

I wanted to start working on some basic movement for the character of the little boy to start making my work suitable for the screen. I am starting with a basic walk, animating all the stages to hopefully bring it together as a smooth motion on screen.

Now i've worked out how to do basic steps I have to translate this movement to my own characters. I'm drawing it out in stages to hopefully use at the 'Stop motion' workshop, to bring it together and make one movement.

Next I have to add the colour to my character. Working on making my character take a step. I will then repeat this with the other leg and hopefully loop the two movements so that character looks like he is walking.
